What AppInsights.uk is

AppInsights.uk is a SaaS compliance intelligence directory for UK IT teams. It provides structured information about the compliance posture, security features, and AI governance practices of SaaS applications, drawn from publicly available sources and vendor submissions.

Subscription and access

Access to AppInsights.uk requires a paid subscription. There is no free tier.

• —Subscriptions are billed monthly at £49/month (inclusive of VAT where applicable).
• —Access is granted on the day payment is confirmed and continues for each billing period in which payment is made.
• —Your subscription is for your individual use. You may not share login credentials or allow others to access the service using your account.
• —We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with at least 30 days' notice by email. Price changes take effect at your next renewal.

Billing and cancellation

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise Stripe to charge the payment method you provide on a recurring monthly basis.

• —You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@appinsights.uk.
• —Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access until that date.
• —We do not offer refunds for part-used months, except where required by applicable law (including your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law).
• —If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. Access may be suspended until payment is resolved.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

Acceptable use

You may use AppInsights.uk for your own internal business or professional purposes. You must not:

• —Scrape, bulk download, or systematically extract the directory data by automated means.
• —Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the data or any part of the service to third parties.
• —Use the service in any way that violates applicable law, including data protection law.
• —Attempt to circumvent access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, or disrupt the service.
• —Use the service to publish, transmit, or store unlawful or harmful content.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

Data accuracy

AppInsights.uk compiles compliance and security information from publicly available sources, vendor documentation, and vendor submissions. While we take care to ensure accuracy, we cannot guarantee that information is complete, current, or error-free.

Vendor compliance postures change over time. Certifications expire. Policies are revised. We update the directory regularly, but there may be a lag between a vendor change and our data reflecting it.

You should independently verify any compliance information that is critical to a procurement decision, regulatory audit, or other high-stakes use. AppInsights.uk scores and data are intended as a starting point for due diligence, not a replacement for it.

Intellectual property

The AppInsights.uk directory, scoring methodology, user interface, and all associated content are owned by AppInsights.uk or its licensors. All rights are reserved.

Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for your own internal purposes. This licence does not give you any ownership rights in the service or its content.

App names, logos, and trademarks visible in the directory remain the property of their respective owners. Inclusion in the AppInsights.uk directory does not imply any endorsement by or affiliation with those vendors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AppInsights.uk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the service, including losses arising from reliance on inaccurate or incomplete data.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under or in connection with these terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to AppInsights.uk in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not accept the changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
